| Jeff has had a few interesting careers over the years. He has played professional tennis, worked in the film industry, and taught tennis to celebrities and the business elite of Beverly Hills. But Jeff eventually decided it was time for a new career doing something that would make a difference. It came down to a choice between helping the environment and helping animals. So when an opportunity at the PETA Foundation presented itself, he knew what he needed to do.
"I had been in and around the animal rights world participating in numerous anti-fur and anti-circus demonstrations," says Jeff. "I had gone vegan about 15 years ago solely for the sake of the animals. During that time, I met a lot of PETA supporters and saw how dedicated and passionate they were. I knew that this was the place to be to really help the animals."
Jeff grew up in Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia in 1983. He now lives in Southern California with his wife, Jill, and myriad rescued animals, including dogs, cats, pigs, rabbits, roosters, and chickens.
